The Horizon T901 Treadmill offers some great starter-treadmill basics and is a bit more advanced the cheaper Horizon treadmills.
You get up higher speed and incline limits (12 MPH and 12%) than many entry level treadmills. You also get a fairly advanced console electronics with iPod docking station and built in speakers.
There's also 7 built in workout programs including 4 that you can create and customize to your needs.
Is the T901 a good value for you? Here's a quick review to help you decide:

Strengths:
1) Large 20" x 55" Belt Gives You Extra Room To Move - This is a fairly spacious belt and will give you lots of room to move. It's also one of the larger belts at this price point.
2) Advanced Console - The T901 carries Horizon's most sophisticated, advanced console. There are 2 large red LED feedback windows along with an addition communication window that gives you workout stats as you go.
3) iPod dock with Built-In Speakers - While this is becoming a fairly standard feature, it's still handy to have and can make your workouts go by a lot faster. You can plug in, charge and play your iPod or Mp3 through speakers built into the console.
4) Up to 12 MPH Speed Limit - Most treadmills only give you up to 10 MPH speed limits. This is fine if you're a walker, but runners often want to go further. The T901 gives you up to 12 MPH speed limits which can help you push yourself to the next level.
5) 7 Built In Workout Programs - This includes 3 preset programs (Weight Loss, Event Training, Cardio Training) and 4 customizable workouts that you can create yourself. Not as many as some brands, but still, enough to challenge you and change up your routine.
Weaknesses:
While the T901 packs some ok value into the price, other similarly-priced models like the Nordic Track A2550PRO treadmill offer you a stronger motor, higher user weight capacity and more fitness tools. Also this is still an entry-level treadmill. Runners or heavier users may want to go with a stronger Sole model like the F80.
Overall Conclusion:
The T901 is a decent starter treadmill. It's also a little more rugged than the lower end Horizon units with a stronger base and thicker belt. You don't get a lot of bells and whistles with this unit, but you do get a decent, well-built treadmill for an affordable price.
Keep in mind however that there are a lot of other options at this price range and you may want to shop around a bit before you make the final decision.
